Dr. Ian Soriano will present an overview of bariatric weight loss surgery, discuss who may be a candidate, and the lifestyle changes necessary for success. He will present information on the gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy surgical options. Sleeve gastrectomy is an alternative for patients with higher BMI's. He will also present information on the various banding options including the LAP-BAND® Adjustable Gastric Banding System and the Realize™ Adjustable Gastric Band System.
